Summary:
Because this anime is so horrible, it’s easier for me to just give detailed description of what accounts for about 90% of this show.
Review:
First of all, the story is broken down into a series of shorts. Much like Azumanga
The show is about a girl named LALA who comes from a planet called Devilluke(she has a devil tail) she runs away because she is a princess and doesnt’ want to take part in an arranged marriage. This is not the first series of this(I don’t know how there is a sequel) and so some of the stuff doesnt make too much sense to me. Lala lives at a boy named Rito’s house and he’s the male “protagonist” even though he doesnt do much to fit the role. Weak, nervous, indecisive. This show also has some side characters in it that are from the old series. There is a blonde girl who can use her hair as weapons and apparently, for whatever reason she is an assassin from another planet and she is supposed to kill Rita althought I’m not sure why because from what I’ve seen he doesnt do too much to be deemed killable. The rest of the show is bs antics and panty shots, blushing, and slapstick comedy that isn’t funny. And of course, every single character in the show has a crush on Rito. And I mean they’re literally throwing their bodies on him but this show never has any kind of physical interaction of that kind. No kissing, no sex despite all the nudity, nothing.
Some scenes that make me want to kill myself:

Alternate Titles: Sunabozu
Original Japanese Release Date: 2004
Episode Length/Run-time: 24
Summary:
Desert Punk takes place in a distant future where the entire world has been turned into a wasteland due to some unnatural catastrophic event. Mankind has barely survived on and lives surrounding water holes. The primary ones of these are known as “Oasis” and are owned by the government which is a mysterious and powerful organization generally at odds with the citizens they oversee. In the Great Kanto Desert, the now wasteland Japan, there is a man called “Desert Punk.” A mercenary who will take on, and complete, any job, no matter how crazy or how difficult. Desert Punk follows the events surrounding Kanta, the man behind the “Demon of the Desert.”
Review:
Desert Punk is a “man’s man” type of anime. It has just about everything a man likes, explosions, guns, and giant tatas… Without much other thought put into it. Now don’t get me wrong, I did find it…. Amusing. But that was about it.
Each episode of Desert Punk was much like the last. Episode start, Kanta gets a job, somehow this job involves Junko Asagiri the T&A of the show. The job lasts one episode, maybe two, and then Kanta finishes the job in a near ridiculous way possible. The anime attempts to string together some key events with regards to water, a shady government, and a few reoccurring villains but don’t be fooled. Once you’ve seen the first episode you’ve seen them all. The closest thing to a plot is Kosuna who is Kanta’s self-proclaimed and later accepted apprentice. She has some kind of growth throughout the series but is otherwise a generally annoying nuisance to all characters, and the viewer.
This is a studio Gonzo anime, released back in 2004, so it’s relatively new-looking. Nothing too fancy but definitely has that shiny new anime look to it. Funimation licensed it in America and did all the dubbing. I actually watched it dubbed and the dubbing was pretty good. It likely was nowhere near the original dub considering they used phrasing like: “why is my husband such a tool?” which really enhanced the series to be completely honest. It wasn’t very good to begin with so to have well-done wording really enhanced things.
The best thing I think I can say about the show is about Kanta. He is the most perverted, generally scummy, not a good person at all. Most people in anime who start out bad have a nougat of good in them. Or they evolve as a person throughout the series. This DOES NOT happen with Kanta. He starts out as a money-hungry do anything for the tatas perv and ends that way. His lack of growth, all things considered, is charming for the anime because it means the show is not trying to turn itself into a piece with plot and meaning after having absolutely nothing for the whole show.
Overall, it’s not a god awful watch, but it’s nothing enjoyable. There are some anime who generally possess more plot in their filler than this show has in its whole 24 episodes. But if you’re in for some mindless humor, there are worse options… and likely better ones too…

Alternate Titles: Queen’s Blade 2 : The Evil Eye
Original Japanese Release Date: September 24th, 2009
Episode Length/Run-time: 12 Episodes
Summary:
It’s time for another sexy battle tournament! Which fighter will become the new queen!
Review:
Wow. I wanted this anime to be a hentai so bad…and yet…it wasn’t. I think I’ll just leave you with that sentiment for a moment…
Ok then. Queen’s blade is about a battle tournament to be the new queen. It’s a single round elimination tournament in which only women participate. Of course! Who wants to see a man’s boobs…wait what? The fights are randomly summoned to battle and the winner of the old tournament get to challenge the old queen for her title. Of course shes not going to make it easy. The queen is a badass, and it’s nice too. 🙂
What else can I say? I mean every fight there are boobs. In some scenes you’ll get some curious tentacles moving about. If you want an anime with no story that is just hot (in some cases, very hot) girls fighting each other. This is just the anime for you!
Alternate Titles: Ikkitousen XX
Original Japanese Release Date: March 26th, 2010
Episode Length/Run-time: 12
Summary:
The heads of all the fighting schools are invited to an island to participate in a fighting tournament. Little do they know that it’s a trap, designed to wipe out the heads of the fighting schools.
Review:
The alternate title of this show had 1 few X’s. This show might as well be a hentai. I’m just surprised that after four whole seasons, that these fighters haven’t started buying more resilient clothing. The slightest punch will cause all of the clothing of the female fighters to explode off violently.
There isn’t really much to say about this show that hasn’t been said before. I suppose the main additions to this series are that they added a few more air headed female characters. Just prepare yourself for less fighting and more slapstick comedy than you’re used to in Ikki Tousen.
I would recommend this show for people who enjoy their T&A and for those who like fighting, even if it is poorly animated.

Alternate Titles: Panty and stocking with Garterbelt, Daten City
Original Japanese Release Date: 13
Episode Length/Run-time: 2010
Summary:
Panty and Stocking are two angels who “came down” from heaven to protect the earth. In reality they were kicked out of heaven for bad behavior and they have to slay the monsters wreaking havoc in Daten City. With Garterbelt looking after them they set out to do just that in their own, original, ways.
Review:
Oh, Panty and Stocking, where to start….?
I suppose with the obvious. the first thing you notice is the look of the show. Highly stylized and flopping between “traditional” anime and what you see in the picture during certain scenes it’s likely to turn more than one person off.
The story, wait, what story? It’s basically just Panty and Stocking running about killing monsters of the week (which are made of shit, yes shit, like pooh) while doing perverted things/eating sweets. At first the anime is fun and quirky and you go “oh this is cool!” Then it’s the same…. and the same… and the same… and you go “what are you doing series?!”
There is some sign of thought at the end, but the over-the-top perversion and sexualization of the show (definitely not one for kids) ruins any positive this would have.
This series would’ve done better as a four-episode OVA, because that’s basically all you need. Watch episodes 1 & 10-13, that’s all you need to get a feel for the show and see all the plot it has to offer.
Panty and Stocking tries to do something as a show and really fails. They rely too much on cheap perverted jokes that just get tired and old. The only reason why it’s better than a Hentai-score is that it does attempt something and well, it’s so close to a hentai anyways with the level of sexuality in the show.
