Supercon 2011

The addicts friends and kind staff over at Florida SuperCon have been more than helpful with panels and so on and we are looking forward to being in attendance and covering the convention.  We will have a table from which we may be offering special merchandise (check out what you can get at any time from our store) and running various competitions.

We had a great time last year and we hope to offer more of the same and new events!

Want to go out to dinner with the addicts?  Let us know you’ll be at Supercon and that you’re interested in saying hi on our forums.

Our panels for Supercon are:

Friday | 7:00pm-8:30pm | At Anime Panels 400 | The Great Cosplay Dating Game

A quickly growing favorite among con-goers this panel puts three bachelorettes competing for one lucky bachelor and three bachelors competing for one lucky bachelorette.  Come 30 minutes early to sign-up to be a part of the game.  Participants must be in cosplay, must be willing to adlib and must be ready to have fun!

Saturday | 12:00pm-1:00pm | At Anime Events 100 | The Best Anime You’ve Never Seen

A standard panel revised every year with yet more anime you haven’t seen.  Come, sit back, relax, and get a sampling of great anime that is sure to please even the most veteran of palates.

Saturday | 3:30pm-5:00pm | At Anime Events 100 | Traveling to Japan

Chiaki keeps going to Japan and so she keeps doing this panel.  Informative, sometimes funny, and sometimes weird, this panel is a crowd pleaser for anyone who has even thought of traveling to the land of the rising sun.

Saturday | 8:00pm-9:00pm | At Anime Panels 400 | The Girl’s Guide to Con Going

What does the late time mean for this panel?  That this ain’t your gramma’s guide to con-going.  Slightly later means that Kimiko and Chiaki may be a little off the cuff and a little risque.  Head out and be ready for something informative and fun.

Sunday | 2:00pm-3:00pm | At Anime Events MACC 1 | Anime Video Games **Debut**

We’re very excited to be debuting this panel at Florida Super Con.  It will cover some of the best anime video games which we will never see here in America, focusing on region-free systems.
