Anime has influenced a number of things in western culture including literal adaptations. We look into how anime has influenced in the literal and not so literal sense western media. In this the recent summer release Pacific Rim is highlighted.

This is not related to anime but I agree with Kram that everyone should listen to Happy End. They are a really amazing band! For that matter I like all of Kram’s musical chooses. They are all very good bands. (Not saying that Chiaki’s chooses aren’t good because I also love L’Arc~en~Ciel.) 笑

Really enjoyed this episode. I hope Chiaki will do ‘voices’ more often, as it made me laugh. Also, thanks to her for the recommendation for ‘Princess Tutu’ (I’ve been listening to your archive). I’m atching an episode a week with a friend and we’re nearly half way through. Almost every time we say to each other “and apparently it gets odd after the half way point…”
